Using Musette

Musette suggests outfits and purchases from what you tell it and the photos you add. Suggestions are just that — use your own judgement for dress codes, weather and fit. Weather comes from a third party and can be wrong.

Closet photography (New York City)

Pricing is by closet size: $99 for up to 50 pieces, $179 up to 100, $249 up to 150, $309 up to 200, and $55 for each further 50 pieces. You pay for the tier you book.
If there are more pieces on the day than booked, the photographer will photograph them and you'll be asked to pay the difference to the correct tier. If there are fewer, the booked tier still applies.
Cancel free of charge more than 24 hours before the appointment for a full refund. Later cancellations and no-access visits are not refunded.
You must be 18+ and able to give the photographer access to the clothes. We handle your clothes with care but are not liable for pre-existing damage.

Selling

Musette drafts listings and suggested prices; you choose what to post and are responsible for your listings and sales on Depop, Poshmark, eBay or elsewhere, under their terms.

Your content and the feed

You keep all rights to your photos and data. You give us permission to process them only to provide the features you use. When you post to the public feed, you also grant Musette a licence to store and display that post to other people as part of the feed until you delete it. Only post content you own — don't post other people's photos or impersonate anyone — and you are responsible for what you post.

Acceptable use and the feed

Don't misuse the service, interfere with it, or use it to break the law. On the public feed there is zero tolerance for objectionable content: no harassment, hate speech, nudity or sexual content, violence, illegal content, or spam, and you must be 18 or older to post. You can report any post or comment and block anyone. We review reports and may remove content and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Musette isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
